Protection from the Evils of Jinns

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Masud (radiallahu anhu) that he mentioned about the Taweez in relation to fever in the gathering of Rasulullah (salallahu alaihi wasalam). He (salallahu alaihi wasalam) asked for that taweez to be shown to him, and hence it was shown. He (salallahu alaihi wasalam) said “This is a promise which Hazrat Sulaiman (alaihi salam) took from the Hawam (i.e. they will not afflict anyone who reads this taweez).” There is no harm in reading this.
