Dua to read when you get an Evil eye

Hazrat Jibrael (alaihi salam) taught a special wazeefa to Rasulullah (salallahu alaihi wasalam) for safeguarding against evil eye. He told Rasulullah (salallahu alaihi wasalam) to read this and blow on Hazrat Hasan and Hazrat Hussain (radiallahu anhuma).

It is written in Ibn Asakir, once Hazrat Jibrael (alaihi salam) came to Rasulullah (salallahu alaihi wasalam), he (salallahu alaihi wasalam) was in a state of sorrow. When he (salallahu alaihi wasalam) was asked about the reason, he (salallahu alaihi wasalam) said “Hasan and Hussain (radiallahu anhuma) have got an evil eye”. Jibrael (alaihi salam) said “This is possible, you can get an evil eye. Why don’t you (salallahu alaihi wasalam) read these words to save them from the effect of evil eye?” Rasulullah (salallahu alaihi wasalam) enquired “What are these words?” He said these are the words:

Rasulullah (salallahu alaihi wasalam) read this Dua and both the children got up and started playing infront of Rasulullah (salallahu alaihi wasalam). Rasulullah (salallahu alaihi wasalam) said: “Oh people! seek protection for yourself, your wife and your children by reading this Dua. There is no Dua like this one for seeking protection.”

Note: When you read this Dua, replace “Al Hasan wa Al Hussain” with the names of your children etc. and then complete the Dua.
